Contingency plan!!

Murphy’s Law states that if anything can go wrong, then it will. This is the reason why contingency plan is needed in most cases.

I had in many occasions been asked by my customers during their audit to our company what is the contingency plan if the primary process control does not work or fail in assuring the product quality,in other word, Plan B!

Being a careful person myself, i never appreciate or understand the need of this so called plan B until recently i realized how naiveĀ  I used to be.

Recently, my company facility department changed all toilet paper roller to a better and more efficient type, see photo:

The instruction on how to use the 2nd roll is a very simple one:

Instruction mentioned here is just have a push this lever to release the 2nd roll

THat’s is pretty simple. As usual, i went to the toilet to do my business the very next day after this new gadget is fixed. While enjoying the passing moments, the dropping of my stools caused some waters sprinkled to my axx. I wanted to clean with the toilet paper. But then, the 1st roll is finished. As per instrution, i pressed the button to release the 2nd roll down but to my surprise, it didnt….and it is blocked by the empty roll:

can u guys see the empty roll blocked the 2nd roll on top

Omg! WTF? what should i do with my axx hole which is still holding some debris of my business. as u can see the bowl, i am almost done this round:

I was nervous then, frantically looking for any papers ard…..seeing none, i stood up and checked on the shitty designed roller and to my surprise, i see this nut and tried to loosen it:

hey, the nut can be loosen...thank GOD!

At the end, i managed to reach the 2nd roll and cleaned up myself. After use, i left the paper roll like that in this photo instead of closing back the cover for the sake of the society:

dsc05501Now u understand why the nut is not tighthened up,it is meant for contingency use,Plan B! Bloody hxxx@#$%^&*() design!!!!!

I just wonder if they really want to provide convenience to the users, why dont they use following designs, safer and economical:

Idea B

Wouldn’t these 2 ideas be better?? what say u?
