How does the movie critic review a movie?

Recently i watched Wolverine in the Cinema and thought it was well-shot and entertaining generally. This was echoed by my friends and colleagues. In fact, the movie has garnered about $150 million revenue just after 3 weeks of screening all over the world despite the earlier leak of its near-finished version over the net.

Pretty faces & shapes, both on the Men and Woman..

But then when i came across the movie critics’ review on this movie, i got the completely different perception of this movie, many says that this movie sucks….and let me show you some philosophical thoughts from the movie critics:

- “There’s the part where, during a fight scene, Logan climbs to the top of a nuclear cooling tower. Why? Why does he climb to the top of the tower? It only makes his fight more perilous, because on top of fighting the guy, he must try to avoid falling.”

- “A key scene sees James Logan become Wolverine via extraordinarily painful surgery that coats his skeleton and bone-claws with indestructible metal adamantium, overseen by evil army czar [William] Stryker [Danny Huston]. But it’s hard to take a villain seriously when he’s dumb enough to wait until after an invincibility operation to attempt to erase the hero’s memory.

“Later, realising there’s not much in the way of tension when nothing can harm the protagonist, the writers introduce something that can: a gun with adamantium bullets. But later still, Stryker changes his mind and declares that an adamantium bullet would only make Wolverine forget things. How would he know?!”

But what did you think of Wolverine? Are the naysayers taking the whole thing too seriously?

Anyway, I’d like you to know how a movie is reviewed and based on what criteria…in case you often give your scores of a movie on Facebook or Twitter!!!

Step 1: Pay attention to the movies Plot. (The storyline of the movie, and how it unfolds)

Ask yourself- Did it make sense? Was it well thought out? Was it executed well? Were there many holes in it?(Things that just seem like they didnt need to be there as they made no sense in the whole scheme of things).

Step 2: Pay attention to the movies Music.

Ask yourself- Did it fit the theme?, Were there lyrics, and if so were they sung well, or were they irritating? How was the music overall?

Step 3: Pay attention to the movies cinematography (the camera work).

Ask yourself-Did watching the movie make you sick? Did it appear like it was somebody’s home video? Or were you waiting for each new scene with anticipation, hoping it will be as good as the last?

Step 4: Pay attention to the Acting of the Actors.

Ask yourself-Was there chemistry between the actors? Did their voices match the part they were playing? Did their manner of speaking match the scene they were acting out? Was it cheesy to watch?

Step 5: Pay attention to how the movie ended and think about what you are feeling right when it does.

Ask yourself-How did it make you feel when it ended? Did you want more, or were you glad to be done with it? Did the ending flow well with what happened during the rest of the movie? Did the ending seem rushed, or well thought out and planned?

Basically, this is to tell you not to blindly like a movie without considering above factors, otherwise you may be just like this dude:

It’s the “Yawning” test for me. How bad the movie will be rated by me, depends largely on how many times I yawned.

Just to name one: Victor broke Logan’s claws, and it didn’t regenerate at all throughout the scene. I yawned.
