Last Friday….

Last Friday, RG dated us for lunch at Sibaraku Restaurant in the Mahkota Parade, as a treat for his birthday which falls on this Monday! (Happy birthday, dude!)

Let’s talk about the restaurant. There are two Sibaraku(s), one being the traditional Japanese restaurant where you get to sit on tatamis and eat the traditional Japanese food like sushis while the other one is the more modern restaurant where it serves various Taiwanese and Japanese cuisines. The special part about the newer restaurant is that you sit around the “stove” while the chef will cook the dishes you ordered right in front of you and serve them piping hot, just like teppanyaki concept!

And the word “Sibaraku” means: Long time No see! Well, I got no comment about this name, you judge it.

To attract more customers during weekdays, the restaurant is offering a special lunch + high tea set @ RM12.90+/pax. In fact, this promotion is termed as Semi Buffet, kinda weird to me!

When Breakfast + Lunch, it is known as Brunch!

Before you walk in, take note of the T&C:

- Meal time is only limited to 1 hour or 60 minutes.

- This promotion is not valid on weekends or public holidays.

Chinese people is really good in business, never be generous and mission is always to make as much $$$$ as possible.

Even before we can sit down, we got to pay first before entering:

Pay before seated,thank you!

I felt offended with this sign, really. Can we complain to the Domestic & Trade Affairs on this kinda mistreatment to the consumer as I will categories this as some sort of irreparable humiliation!

Next, let’s see what they have:

First is the Japanese Sashimis

One thing good about this restaurant is the cleanliness and the personal hygiene emphasized by the management. All staffs are required to wear face mask while serving.
