Yesterday, I had a great lunch at Zhong Hua Restaurant which is located near Jalan Kesidang 3/11; 0.1 kilometre away from Jalan Pelanduk Putih (kg 8); 0.1 kilometre away from Jalan Tun Perak; 0.1 kilometre away from Jalan Kampung Enam; 0.3 kilometre away from Jalan Bacang. It is geographically located at latitude (2.2135 degrees) 2° 12′ 48″ North of the Equator and longitude (102.2395 degrees) 102° 14′ 22″ East of the Prime Meridian on the Map of Malacca – Melaka. (I hope this details will guide you to the right direction.)

This restaurant has been in business for quite some times and enjoys reasonably good feedbacks by the people living in the vicinity. I was there for a lunch gathering organized by RG, besides to celebrate his birthday for the 2nd time.

Well, time to see what we had for our lunch:

Next dish was bamboo shoots with prawns:

3rd dish was Roasted duck….6 of us had one whole duck….unbelievable…The skin was absolutely crispy and the meat was fresh too.

4th dish was calamari served with dried and spicy chillies…Unfortunately the calamari was not much,guess the dried chilies was more than it.

The next dish was roasted pork which is crispy and tender…

6th dish was special-codenamed SCC egg (Salted egg + Century egg + Chicken egg)

It tastes nice,just like home made steamed egg. The presence of salted egg make it more tasty.

Last but not least, our dessert was none other than the famous lotus pancake & its usual companion-peanut soup. This is one of my favorite dessert! But then, i must say this dessert served in this restaurant was not as good as Good New World Restaurant-our usual choice of chinese restaurant located in Melaka Raya.

Peanut soup was rather dilute! should be thicker….

As i said, lunch can always be fun and delicious, this is exactly happening on us!…….
