Hong Kong singing sensation Eason Chan was in KL last Sunday @ Sunway Surf Beach to perform the last leg of his 2 years long world tour concert themed Moving On Stage 26.
The Concert poster
Unfortunately, I missed the first part as we were held up at the entrance for unknown reasons to me, probably the fans were allowed entry at phases to avoid any chaos! But then, wasn’t it unfair to the late comers as we also paid @ the same price for the tickets???

The crowd for the concert, mind you, this is just a handful of the total number.
Security screening was also tight for the day
Kudos also to the organizer for making us to walk a long, long way (>700 m) from the main entrance till the inner side surf beach, should you have been to Sunway, you will appreciate my pains too! nabei betul! By the time we reached there, Eason was already sweating out his shirt and singing for half an hour. I got to know he sang one of the best songs at the beginning too- K Go Zi Wong and Wo De Beh Bao!
A sea of people shouting for Eason
I bought the Blue Zone ticket which was the cheapest so pardon me if you think my photos are craps. But then, the 2 giant screens beside the stage are good enough for me to hear his melodious voice.
The venue was staged at the surf beach which is actually filled with metre high waters for surfers but the water was drained out for the concerts:

The surf beach at normal days
He sang <30 songs, kinda lesser than normal and the encore lasted for only about an hour. The colorful spotlights and fireworks did make the show more stunning:
he didnt wear complicated costume, just plain tshirt
Notable songs were the super hot medley of songs from the previous 4 heavenly kings of Cantonpop (Andy Lau, Aaron Kwok, Jacky Cheung, Leon Lai & the 80′s idols like Leslie Cheung and Alan Tam. I found that the singing, the dances & the comical ways of Eason quite fun and entertaining. Anyway he is also famous for his unorthodoxed showmanship.
It was three hours of a lot of dancing, screaming and waving! I have watched few concerts and Eason’s concert is my fave if not the best! My legs turned numbed after 2 hours plus of standing but i had no qualms at all!
Eason reserved a slot to thank his band members and dancers, besides introducing to the crowd one by one. This gesture is very commendable as for genuine music fans, we will pay attention to the people working for our idols or favourite singers as these people really complete the singer.
To my surprise, Eason paid tribute to MJ by singing the hit-Heal the World, not bad as i thought. Mind you, Eason spent some years overseas to do his studies thus he can speak fluent English, let alone singing.
Lastly, he sang the finale song- “Yi Wo Sheung Joi”, as usual to mark the end of his concert. Immediately after the song, we heard the explosions behind us, yah, there was fireworks last> 5mins! Unbelievable! Well, while we were focusing on the fireworks, Eason and his troupe has quietly left the stage. Nabei, should have said goodbye to me, really no manners!
No matter how much i write, only video footages of the night will tell you how much joy and fun we had on the night:
