I came across a weird news today that a British couple lost their appeal against her earlier conviction of making excessive noises during their love making sessions which has caused their neighbours sleepless nights,late for work, and their lives intimidated. It is also claimed that the marathon romps sounded like someone being murdered. huh!!!!

Steve and Caroline Cartwright’s “howling” lovemaking sounded “unnatural”, “hysterical” and “like they are both in inconsiderable pain”.

The local council set up special equipment in the neighbour’s flat and recorded noise levels of between 30 to 40 decibels, peaking at 47.

Let me show you what noise is likened to 47 or 50 Db.see this chart:

But the woman reasoned out as follows:

Caroline Cartwright said she was unable to stop the noises.

“I tried to control it. I even tried to use a pillow to try and lessen the noise,” she said.

“I have tried to minimise the situation by having sex in the morning — not at night — so the noise was not waking anybody.”

But the court still found her and her partner guilty as charged. And now after half a year, they lost their appeal against the ban on her to continue making noise during sexual intercourse.

And she is claiming that the ban  is a breach of her human rights. She is using Article 8 of the Human Rights Act to argue that she has a right to ”respect for her private and family life”.

Guys, do you know why the couple is so unique then? Pls share your opinions with me if can.

So, do you know how much noise you are making? make sure you don’t annoy your neighbours, to be on the safe side, you can put the noise level measurement equipment at your next room to measure the Db level, as long as not more than 30 Db (like the library condition), you and your partners are safe to cont with your love makings.
