Jan 27th,2010!!

Finally, my dream is coming to a reality, not so far away as it has been confirmed on this coming Wednesday. An elegant looking, lightweight and technologically breakthrough machine which can play songs, video (most importantly support RMVB format), and of course surf internet wirelessly. It should not be more than 200 gram of weigh and not too big but should have a HDD size of no less than 500GB. Also, it should come with GPS and support DLNA and A2DP bluetooth technologies and able to act as a mobile phone too. If possible, the screen should be scratch free, HD mode and bright! Yes, you got it right, I am waiting for this type of tablet PC,small and rich in applications, beautiful and elegant!

Expectations that Apple Inc. will launch a much-rumoured tablet computer next Wednesday (Jan 27th) has Internet blogs buzzing with speculation about how the device will look and what it will be called.

Typically, Apple is continuing with its successful formula of building anticipation through secrecy. The iPod maker sent out a statement Monday urging media to “come see our latest creation” at an event in San Francisco on Jan. 27, but provided no other details.

The Invitation by Apple to the media...

The general consensus is that the new tablet will have a 10-inch colour touch screen and will operate much the same way as an iPhone. It will be called the iSlate, iTablet or iPad, and will sell for more than $700 (U.S.).

One rumour is that The New York Times’ decision to begin charging for access to online content in 2011 is part of a larger partnership with Apple that will see the newspaper’s stories available on the tablet through an iTunes-like distribution model.

Apple is rumoured to be working with a number of other newspaper and book publishers, and is also reportedly in talks with AT&T Inc. and Verizon Communications Inc. on a deal that would connect the tablet to their wireless networks.

The Wall Street Journal reported that Apple also wants to offer monthly TV subscriptions on its tablet and is negotiating a deal with CBS Corp. and ABC-owner Walt Disney Co.

So far, there are many speculations on how the machine should look like, some of them are as follow:

I bet the product may somehow look like this, a bigger screen Iphone..

So, lets wait for the announcement on this Wednesday, and Steve Jobs will again present the machine himself…If you haven’t seen him presenting, you better try to look out for this… He is widely acknowledged as the best presenter in the world, mind you!

Will this Ixxxx be the next Ipod or Iphone?? I hope it will fit my wish list mentioned above too…..I gave Ipod and Iphone a miss, hopefully i will get this gadget from Apple eventually…
