I am an engineer who learnt to only accept a result based on sufficient facts and justification. This understanding had convinced me to think that the Lynas Rare Earth plant in Malaysia should be safe then, based on the certifications given by the international inspection bodies.

But then, after watching this very disturbing movie clip, no matter how convincing the project safety are articulated, I will never ever accept this project from a citizen point of view. Why? You might ask. watch the clip then:

 
Above clip shows the irrepairable damages felt by a rakyat, thanks to the 1st rare earth processing plant in Malaysia- the Bukit Merah Asian Rear Earth plant in Ipoh in 1980s!
